"RTS 2024 was the best year that I can remember. More visitors but also better quality visitors, as well as a great set of exhibitors setting the bar high with innovation and tech. We finished the show with the highest amount of leads we have ever had, and we were in meetings with some of them just days after the event. TPP have continually increased our annual investment in RTS for the 10+ years we have been at the show and will do so again next year."

"I think this is one of the best shows actually. I mean, firstly, it brings together so many retailers from across the UK but also wider Europe. And it's great to be here in person, to network, to hear what's going on. And then for us as a vendor, it just gives us a great reason to connect with our customers, in person and in an environment where they're open to innovation, to thinking differently, to experiencing and seeing new technology. "I think it's great to have a show dedicated to a specific vertical. In our industry, there's a lot of general contact center or CX shows, but actually it can be quite difficult to cut through a lot of the noise and for prospective customers or existing customers of ours, to get some really relevant snippets of information for their business. So I think that's the best thing about it, is that kind of dedicated verticalization.
Yeah, I mean, today we've had great footfall, lots of people walking past the stand. It's great to just have informal conversations, just as much as it is to have more formal structured conversations. So yeah, I think the face-to-face interaction is key for us. We do a lot of marketing out in the industry, we work through various different channels, PR agencies, but actually getting in front of people is always something that we are really keen to do.
Yeah, it's been good, there's a good buzz about the event. There's some really cool stuff here, including some of the conversations we are having. There's some really exciting conversation around AI, everybody wants to talk about it, everybody wants to understand how it can add value for their business. I think the scale of the show is pretty impressive as well and there's a large variety of different technical solutions. So you've got EPOS systems, applications, advertising, marketing, customer contact, so a really broad portfolio of suppliers. Yeah. So it's been great today, really looking forward to day two and most importantly, can't wait until next year, I'm sure the show will be even better."

"It's a great way to connect people from the industry, everywhere that we are. You're seeing a lot of different people from different parts of retail and seeing it come to life. When I first saw a retail technology show talking about the magic, I was like, "Ah, okay," but now, I see, this is where the magic happens and that's one thing that's so exciting.
The UK is a new for us, but we know that there's a lot of opportunity here and when we can make it here, we can really make it anywhere. It's a good way for people to see what we do and really experience what SmartWays has to offer firsthand. We know the key people that we want to speak to, the brands, the retails, this is exactly where they're at. The thing about our business, is it's not necessarily the brands that have their own store, but we know that they have a presence in many stores. So it's being able to help them and we know these are the people that'll be walking around.

"Well, it's just great to bring together all these people who are innovating, particularly, because it's retail technology. Oh, for us, this show's all about just engaging with our members. It's about getting out there, getting visible, making sure people are aware of the change that's happening and will be coming over the next few years and giving them the opportunity to ask us questions and find out more about what we're doing. Day one's been really busy. I can't believe how many people there are here, I've never seen so many retailers in one place. And yeah, we are on this corridor, there's a constant flow of traffic. So yes, I'm very tired already and I'm not sure how I'm going to do day two."

"The Retail Technology Show is a sort of once a year chance for us to get in front of many, many retailers. And for those retailers to come and see all the new technology that's available that they probably haven't seen before or had never thought they needed. And they're just able to come and see it under one roof and in one place and get the most out of the day for being able to be transformational and drive their business forward.
It's about being able to be in front of people, meet people, do the networking that comes with any event, like today. One of the things that any business is trying to do is, get the word out that we're here. Let people know that our existing clients, who think we're great and we work really well with, are our existing clients, but we're always hoping to get new clients. And being able to be in an event like this, probably, is one of the best chances each year, to do that at scale. It's been a busy day. I think compared to last few years, this is the first year that's really felt like, almost pre-Covid, levels of busy. "It's great for us, because we get to engage with all of the retailers we want to engage with, all of the retailers we already have engaged with. And we get a two-day time span to talk to as many people as we can, to sell our technology and sell our benefits and sell how Hanshow stands taller than our competition. But mainly understand what they want from us, what they require from us, what their pain points are. And by doing that we can have some really constructive conversations with potential and existing customers in the UK.
Okay, so from an exhibit, this show is about looking at other technologies, understanding what's going on in the market and seeing what people are doing, which is the whole and what we see and what we're feeling from the whole, but it's a space where retailers come. And the space where retailers come, they come to our stand and talk to us. It's just purely about engagement and as many touch points and as many, many ways that we can engage with potential and existing customers. Fantastic. Last year was good, as it happens, we had a really good year last year. Today was better than last year and hopefully tomorrow is better than today. So we've had a really good show."

"Well, in the discussions I've had with people, what they've said is, it kind of gives them a baseline of where everything is right now. Because things are moving so quickly, that coming to a show like this for someone in retail, even for people like us in software, they can get a real current feel for what's happening in the market, what the trends are and what they should be considering for the future.
The vibe, well, it starts off first thing in the morning with a great, "Welcome to the show," which we love. I would say, really positive, you've got some great stands here, like the one next to us, right, it attracts a lot of footfall through. I would say, really positive and optimistic.
