LAVA’s nSynC Adapters turn Lenovo Tab K10 Batteryless Tablets into commercial-grade applications
)
LAVA Computer MFG. Inc. is proud to unveil the latest line of SimulCharge adapters for the Lenovo Tab K10 Batteryless tablet.
Unlike LAVA’s recently announced K10 Batteryless Enclosure, the nSynC K10 Batteryless Adapters don’t restrict the tablet installation to a specific form factor, allowing them to be built directly into any structure or hidden away as part of digital signage. The Adapters provide the Lenovo tablet with simultaneous power and data, making them perfect for instalments like smart lockers, or digital signage.
“Since the Lenovo Tab K10 Batteryless tablet doesn’t have a battery, you don’t need to worry about overcharging it,” says Rostyk Wynnyckyj, Technical Sales Engineer. “This creates for a unique opportunity where the LAVA adapters expand on the tablet’s ability and make it ideal for reliable long-term installations.”
The nSynC K10 Batteryless Adapters are available in a variety of port configurations which allow the tablet a 12-volt power contract, while also providing access to USB peripherals, Ethernet and more:
- nSynC-vc3U K10 Batteryless: Includes DC-DC voltage converter and 3x USB-A ports
- nSynC-vcE K10 Batteryless: Includes DC-DC voltage converter and Ethernet
- nSynC-PE K10 Batteryless: Includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Ethernet
- nSynC-vc2UE K10 Batteryless: Includes DC-DC voltage converter, 2 USB ports and Ethernet
- nSynC-P2UE K10 Batteryless: Includes Power over Ethernet (PoE), Ethernet and 2x USB-A ports
The K10 Batteryless PoE adapters offer a simple solution for managing cables, as they combine power and a reliable wired network connection over the same Ethernet cable. With PoE technology, you can even power your tablet from a distance of up to 328ft (100m) away from the PoE-capable network switch. Meanwhile, the adapters without PoE support feature voltage converters that can take a DC power input of 15-36 volts and step it down to 12 volts, making them compatible with tablets. These adapters are especially useful in vehicles and other systems with 24-volt electrical systems, where they can be connected directly without any issues due to their higher voltage. The additional option of USB ports can further enhance the tablet’s capabilities through peripherals such as scanners, printers and more.
“LAVA is the only company that can provide simultaneous power and data solutions for the Lenovo K10 Batteryless,” noted Roman Wynnyckyj, LAVA founder and CEO. “We absolutely see a bright future for these nifty pieces of tech as they are a guarantee problem solver and money saver for businesses.”
