The ScanBox is charged via special charging contacts in the holder of the tablet computer. The charging process is initiated by connecting only the last shopping cart in a row to the power source. As soon as this happens, the power is automatically passed on to all the shopping carts in front of it and the charging process starts simultaneously for all the shopping carts involved. This intelligent technology enables efficient and practical charging of the Scanbox without having to connect each shopping cart individually. Alternatively, a docking station can also be used here.

This charging technology is also available for ScanBoxes retrofitted to classic shopping carts.
