In retail, we’ve seen it all from the “gold build” days where tills were wrapped in cotton wool to vast sums spent “just in case” the comms went down. The arguments to retain this funding rather than invest heavily in digital are starting to weaken. In this session, we’ll spend time examining the arguments for and against maintaining an “offline” mode in retail today.
