The conversation also explored how combining A2A payments
with loyalty programmes and digital identity verification could unlock
additional value at the point of sale, strengthening customer engagement while
improving transaction efficiency.

regulators, banks and fintech providers signals growing momentum across the
sector.
Industry participants believe the next 12–24 months could
prove decisive in shaping the future of open banking payments in the UK retail
landscape.
