Throughout my life I have always worked in and around the retail industry. Like a number of people my starting point was at McDonald's whilst a student, and then on to Costa, operating key attraction sites in the city. Over the last twenty years I have worked in both public and private sectors through healthcare, education, military, government and also the exhibition industry. This varied background has given me tremendous insight into both operations and people across differing environments, something that I don’t underestimate the value of.  

Its fair to say that I love anything that involves tech and innovation generally.... I've been lucky enough to work on some really exciting projects, most recently being part of the team that opened the very first frictionless convenience store in any healthcare establishment worldwide.  

Outside of work, I enjoy as much time with my wife and two children as I can. Having young kids aged seven and nine, we have our hands full! As most will know, with a young family there isn’t much time to do anything else - but I will admit to being a long suffering Spurs fan, going to the odd game when I can and hoping that this year, just maybe, we might win something!
